I’m the founder of Heartwood Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and a licensed Acupuncture Physician in Florida. I’m passionate about creating thoughtful, personalized care that helps people feel more connected to their bodies and supported in their health. I began my healthcare journey at the North East School of Botanical Medicine, where my love of plants grew through plant identification walks and learning how to harvest and make medicine from plants in the wild. That passion eventually led me to Acupuncture and deepened my interest in bringing more holistic approaches to healthcare to the Tallahassee community. One of the things I love about Acupuncture is its connection to the natural world. It invites us to notice the rhythms and patterns in nature and consider how those same patterns show up in our bodies and our lives. This way of seeing health feels very intuitive to me, and it allows me to bring together my love of plants, nature, acupuncture, and herbal medicine in the way I care for my patients.
