Herbal Medicine at Heartwood
Herbal medicine is a personalized way to support your health and work alongside acupuncture. At Heartwood, I create individualized herbal formulas based on your unique needs and goals.
I’ve studied both Western and Chinese herbalism, and herbal medicine has become an important part of how I care for my clients. At Heartwood, I use high quality granules (powdered, concentrated herbal extracts) from manufacturers that follow rigorous Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
I create individualized herbal formulas based on your symptoms, constitution, and overall health. Herbs and acupuncture work beautifully together and are often combined as part of a treatment plan.
How Herbal Medicine Can Support You
Herbal medicine can be a wonderful way to support your health through all kinds of seasons. It can be helpful for both chronic and acute concerns, from menstrual and hormonal health to fertility, pregnancy, pain, digestion, stress, sleep, and more.

“Herbalism is based on relationship - relationship between plant and human, plant and planet, human and planet. Using herbs in the healing process means taking part in an ecological cycle.”
